The East Aurora School District 131 Board of Education approved the appointment of Anthony Holub as the next principal of Fred Rodgers Magnet Academy during its March 16, 2026 Board of Education meeting. Holub will officially begin his role on July 1, 2026.

On Monday, March 16th Krug 5th graders braved the snowy weather and had the opportunity to visit the Herbert Trackman Planetarium and Cronin School at Joliet Junior College. The planetarium visit was led by Caitlin Lee of JJC, and she took them to the Moon and out further to view our entire galaxy!

Thirty-seven East Aurora seniors have been named 2026 Illinois State Scholars by the Illinois Student Assistance Commission — a merit-based honor recognizing the state’s top graduating seniors.

Jumpstart
East Aurora’s Jumpstart program provides support and information to parents with children ages 0 to 3 as well as for families who are expecting a baby. Jumpstart is a Parents as Teachers (PAT) affiliate that focuses on strengthening parent-child interactions, development-centered parenting, family well-being, and promoting early literacy so that all our Baby Tomcats will grow, develop, and learn to reach their full potential!
